In April 2013, Chief Dr. Robert Joseph spoke at the Expanding Our Knowledge conference, which was hosted byWorking Effectively with Aboriginal Peoples(TM). In this video of his presentation, Chief Dr. Joseph speaks about his commitment to bring together all people for a deeper dialogue about reconciliation, and and how we can all reach into our souls for a profound, sustainable understanding. The presentation includes a very moving letter from a Holocaust survivor who questions how a country like Canada could enforce the Indian Residential School Act that inflicted such a long lasting, devastating effect on generations of families.
